Business Process Management & Modeling

Drawing Pictures, Setting Improvement Metrics and Identifying Risks

This practice area includes process assessment, modeling, automation, metrics and controls, to baseline and improve client results that impact key stakeholders and project sponsors.

Used frequently with Information Visualization & Analytics, these Business Process Management (BPM) projects can include:

  • BPM Notation – creating the picture of processes for analysis in a way that allows for automation and simulation of revised processes and measures.
  • Information Architecture - consolidating, normalizing and assuring the quality of data to support the requirements of existing and new processes, data flows and reporting requirements.
  • BPM Suites – extending the changes required in underlying IT systems in a systematic way through Software Oriented Architecture (SOA) adoption. This can include Information, Visualization & Analytics – using dashboards, selected metrics and indices to move from reactive (pull-based) business process analysis to on-going proactive (push-based) business transparency.
  • Inter/Intra Entity BPM – applying BPM principles and tools across organizational functions where matrix management is required for business modeling and adoption approval.

BPM continues to gain acceptance as a Center of Excellence to make companies more agile as well as address Global Risk & Compliance requirements.

Advus can lead all facets of these programs from selection of team members, training of BPM discovery and mapping tools, to ensuring action items are being completed, and finally, that the goals of both key stakeholders and key sponsors progress through completion.
